Hi Everyone,

Please be understanding that things will be very different at our spa. All clients will be required to wear a mask inside our facility at all times except for when you are receiving service. Our staff and service providers will have their mask on at all times. We will also be taking everyone's temperature upon entering our facility. We will be operating at a much slower pace to ensure safety measures are implemented. It is extremely important to keep our staff, service providers, and clients safe.

Here is what we're doing to increase safety

6. Spacing all appointments 30 minutes apart to allow ample time for sanitization

9. All equipments and containers will be wiped down with rubbing alcohol and Citrus ll (medical grade cleaner used in hospitals)

10. You will have the option to skip the relaxation lounge and go straight to your treatment room if it's available

Warm Organic Coconut Oil Scalp Massage $15

Warm organic coconut oil will be poured on and massaged into your scalp. Coconut oil nourishes the scalp and adds luster, shine, and softness to the hair.

Face Cupping $15

Suction cups will be used to increased blood circulation, relieve muscle tension, and promote cell repair in the face. Unlike body cupping, face cupping doesn't leave bruise like marks

High Frequency $15

Offers a safe and gentle alternative to plastic surgery procedures, laser resurfacing, collagen and botox injections, and other invasive skin recovery procedures. The application of high frequency current to the skin produce an immediate and temporary lifting effect, at the same time helps treat existing acne and prevents the onset of new acne.

LED Light Therapy $15

Diamond microdermabrasion is one of the easiest and most effective ways to fight the effects of aging. It also treats flaky skin, hyperpigmentation, acne scars, oily, congested skin, blackheads, and so much more. Using a diamond tip, the outer layers of the skin are exfoliated revealing smooth glowing skin.

Dermafile $20

A skin resurfacing and polishing tool, manufactured of stainless steel and finely crushed cosmetic diamonds. This is an effective and holistic alternative for microdermabrasion. Recommended for pregnant woman or those with really sensitive skin.

Ultrasonic $20

Ultrasound technology is utilized to increase the production of collagen, help firm up the skin, remove blackheads, and encourage product absorption.. It is completely safe and highly effective, with no downtime, redness or pain. Highly recommended for those looking to remove their blackheads especially on the nose.

Dermaplaning $30

A form of exfoliation that require the use of a scalpel. It gently removes the top layer of dead skin along with annoying peach fuzz to reveal a smoother and brighter complexion. It also allows for greater penetration of skincare products and creates a flawless canvas for makeup application. This is a safe and recommended form of exfoliation for pregnant women.

Lactic Acid Peel $30

Our 20% lactic acid peel is our most gentle peel, so it's highly recommended for those with sensitive and dry skin. It has amazing hydrating benefits and will leave your skin feeling cushion soft and moisturized. The results are extraordinary when paired with microdermabrasion.

Nourishing Scalp Treatment

Nail And Spa Society was founded by Jenny Bui. She is a licensed massage therapist, esthetician, and nail technician. Being owned by someone who works in the industry is what sets us apart from other spas owned by a group of entrepreneurs who don't have a clue about the spa industry!

We will exceed all of your expectations the moment you walk in our doors. You won't have to worry about walking into a pressured sales driven environment because we believe in suggesting, not up selling. Though our facility is small, it is intimate and serene. Relax by the calming fireplace in our candlelit relaxation room and enjoy a warm cup of tea before or after your treatment(s).

We provide our guests with the full service time advertised. We give our service providers ample time in between appointments to do what they have to do, so they don't cut into your time. All we need from you is to arrive early to settle in!

Though we provide relaxing spa services, we are also a certified medical facility. All of our massage therapists are medical level and can provide advanced medical massages to help those who are in chronic pain, therefore we are able to accept HSA.

We believe the services we provide will contribute greatly to your health and well-being. Value and take care of your face and body, you only have one!

UPDATE: We've added a nail bar to our brand - Serene Nail Bar It is located one block north of Spa Serene on Indian School and Scottsdale Rd. Please check it out if you haven't yet! Spa Serene also went through a major renovation/expansion in June 2021 and is now standing at 1,450 sf. We have added a second bathroom/shower, a second couples massage room, and many more surprises!

Our signature massage was inspired by the traditional Hawaiian Lomi massage. We kept the traditional draping method but modified ours by using less coconut oil, incorporating Western massage techniques, and performing it on a heated table. We definitely aimed to impress with this one!

HAWAIIAN LOMI MASSAGE

Lomi was created by the Polynesian ancestors of Hawaii. Through lomi, stress and muscle tension are relieved, and blood and lymph flow are encouraged. We are one of the few spas in Arizona that offers this unique and exotic massage!

Spa Policies

Booking Policy

We require every individual to pay a 50% deposit. Deposits will be applied to your service(s), so you will only owe the difference at time of check out.

Late Arrival Policy

Please arrive at the spa 5-15 minutes before your scheduled appointment. Please arrive even earlier if you or someone in your party still need to complete consent form(s). If you are running late, please notify us immediately. We cannot promise nor guarantee any last-minute accommodations, but we will be happy to try. If accommodations cannot be honored you will be held responsible for the full service price and no discounts or additional time will be given. After 15 minutes, you will be considered a no show and will be charged 100% of the reserved appointment value.

Cancellation Policy

We kindly ask for a minimum 24-hour notice if you must cancel or reschedule your reservation. In the event that you reschedule outside of our cancellation window, you will be charged 25% of the reserved appointment value. In the event that you cancel outside of our cancellation window, you will be charged 50% of the reserved appointment value. No shows will be charged 100% of the reserved appointment value. The cancellation fee is to compensate our service providers. Thank you for your understanding.

Party Booking/Cancellation Policy

The cancellation/no show policy stated above also apply to groups of three or more with two exceptions. One - we ask for a 48-hour notice if you must cancel or reschedule. Second - should a single individual book as the party's point of contact they are accepting the responsibility for every person within the scheduled party, and their card on file will be held to the stated cancellation policy above for each individual. If a party wishes to avoid this singular responsibility, then every individual in the party is required to call and place a card on file at time of booking.

When you book an appointment with us, we are reserving a time specially for you, which means we are declining other clients who may want your time slot. Our providers only gets paid when they work, which is why we ask you to respect our cancellation policies. We all have a family to feed, so please be kind, considerate, and not waste each other's time. Please stay home if you are not feeling well, but let us know in advance of course.

By confirming your appointment via text, email, or over the phone with a spa associate, you are stating that you have read and agreed to all of Spa Serene's policies.
